Brooks,

As ever, your experience (as apparently that of others has) may vary. I
have to say that I did use Nuchrome on my '59 Tr3A restoration for the
windshield parts, shift lever, and grab handle. They did a serviceable job
on all, and had the parts back to me within a couple of weeks.

I will say that, when I visited their warehouse to drop off and pick up my
parts, I've never seen a place with so many projects. Inventory control
must be a nightmare.

Whether you use them or not, I would suggest finding a way to make your
parts memorable through some packaging system that holds them all together.
