There are two adjustments : the shim pack under the Dzus sockets, and the
threaded shanks of the buffers. If removing the shim packs won't get it low
enough, then the sockets are bad, or you have the wrong buttons (ISTR the
sidecurtain buttons are a little bit longer), or you need to massage the inner
fenders some more.
