Yep, welcome to 2007!!
Yesterday (New Years Day) went on a drive with friends, took the TR3 to LA
area and drove around the Santa Monica Mountains. Temps were in the 60's,
quite a nice day (at least not raining like last year!)
The event is organized by a friend of Czechoslovakian decent, and lintel
soup is supposed to bring good luck, so a stop on the tour is to share a cup
of lintil soup with all, then continue on to his house for more goodies.
A grand time was had by all, including Phil Hill and Jay Leno (who showed up
in an Ariel Atom, the exo-skelton car with a huge horsepower to weight
ratio! - check them out at arielatom.com) Quite the collection of cars -
everything from brand new hot cars to extremely old (Locomobile, Bugatti,
etc.) Two TR3s and a TR250 in attendance.
