I would note the "disclaimer" on the web site above, about modern
improvements in metallurgy and machining and such. After that, though,
it's not really clear to me (Ok, I didn't carefully read the entire
page) if he's advocating this method for rebuilds of older motors.
I'm no expert in this area, but I don't know as I'd want to try the
"floor it in first gear" method on a rebuilt TR motor!?
