I was thinking that the issue was with the part of the snap that is attached to
the hood, not the car. Was I wrong or does the plastic washer under the stud
help that also? Anyway, my local TruValue has them in their drawers of loose
hardware pieces. I just brought one of the studs with me and got a bunch of
whatever size seemed to fit best.
