So my question to the list is are the plastic snaps as supplied by the usual
suppliers reliable? Are they breaking sooner than they should?
What has been your experience? Comments?
TIA,

Jim, Just a comment by a fellow inhabitant of the Sun belt....but if you car
is going to spend any time at all outside or in a very hot garage, I'd go
with metal. Plastic doesn't last long in the sun around here.

As he stared at her ample bosom, he daydreamed of the dual Stromberg
carburetors in his vintage Triumph, highly functional yet pleasingly formed,
perched prominently on top of the intake manifold, aching for experienced
hands, the small knurled caps of the oil dampeners begging to be inspected and
adjusted as
described in chapter seven of the shop manual.
