That late a car should definitely have the self-parking wipers. So, I
believe the factory would have connected the power feed to the heater
control, to the "hot" terminal on the fuel gauge (the one with the green
wire without a tracer).
But it's not critical, any convenient place in the "green" circuit will do
fine. The "green" circuit is switched by the ignition switch, and protected
by a fuse.
