Mission Control,
Reporting from 5 miles above the earth surface. :o) Fuel gauge works fine,
especially when you put enough gas in the tank to have the gauge read it.
(duh!) All ground connections are working for engine start. Polarized the
generator, hooked up the two harness wires to the generator. Started up my LBC
hemi, runs like a kitten, and no leaks. One puzzling thing. There is this red
light on the gauge cluster that stays lit. (This must have something to do
with the electricals, to early for Christmas decorations) Ammeter reads to the
positive side even after the park lights are pulled on but not much. Fan belt
is lose but does not appear excessive. New (old) water temp gauge cleaned and
installed. Appears to be working well. The old (NOS) still does not react to
heat (hot air gun). No kinks or bends or obvious breaks? Must not have
anything in the tube. Open for suggestions on this Christmas light on the
dash.
