What is the worst car other listers have owned?

For me, a used, Belgian-assembled 1976 Saab 99. Actually, the basic car was
ok and fairly reliable. But pretty much any part I ever needed to replace a:
cost horribly and b: gave me untold grief.
The last straw was right after getting some reasonably critical suspension
mount rewelded. That in itself was no big deal (although it wasn't cheap), but
I stopped at a friend's house on the way back from the welder. In my friend's
driveway, the stupid transfer gears that take power from the idiotically
backwards-mounted engine down to the gearbox decided they'd had enough and
self-destructed. It was too much to bear (in every way, including economics).
I parked it outside a storage unit I was renting, hoping that someone would
give me a tiny bit of money for what was left. That finally happened, but not
before someone broke into the car and stole the only still-valuable item: the
radio.

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
