I'm relocating to Austin from Ann Arbor, and the relocation company uses
Dependable. I've never heard of them, and decided to get quotes from car
haulers who have some visibility in the classic car community. I ended up
going with Reliable for several reasons: 1) mid-range price for enclosed
transport; 2) very strong recommendations from several friends, one of
whom's collection includes several Rolls Royces, an Isotta Frachini, and a
Ferrari; 3) they use their own drivers and trucks; and 4) they are used by
the manufacturers for transporting show and test cars.

Give me a week and I'll let you know how it worked out.

A friend is shipping his car across country and is considering using
Dependable Auto Shippers. A few months ago someone asked about them
and got
one favorable reply (at least that's what I could find in the
archive) - if
you are still on the list, how did it go?

Does anyone else have any feedback on them?

        TIA,
        Bob
