Don:
This is the oiler that I have used on my TR6 trunions for the past 6 years.
It works great and I do use the standard engine oil (Mercury) from the local
boat shop that screws right into the center part of the oiler. To make this
fit on a grease nipple, you will need to replace the metal end pipe that the
oil comes out of with one that is threaded at both ends (versus just the one
end). Then you can get the proper end fitting that will fit on the grease
nipples. If you buy the gun you will see exactly what I mean. This set up
works like a charm.
