I routinely use the Brooklands style windscreen for winter Arizona
driving since we go months at a time w/o rain. Have never had a problem
with law-enforcement -- perhaps because the car was built before most of
these guys were born. Plus gray hair (what there is of it) probably
makes me an unlikely target for a traffic stop.
I always wear eye protection (sunglasses by day, safety glasses by
night) as there is the possibility of the odd rock or bug.
Note -- for the usual Brooklands sold I mounted it using a built-up
'shoe' in place of the rubber gasket on the lefthand mount so it sits
closer to level. Can send a pic if you get to that point.
