I had Brooklands Aeroscreens on my old TR3 vintage racecar that I 
occasionally drove on the street in Maryland. No problems with Law 
Enforcement. Maybe I was just lucky that I never was pulled over.

The car had Historic license plates (called "tags" in Maryland) so it was 
exempt from state vehicle inspection.

Don't know about other states.
