Generator Bracket Measurement TR4

I am in a place where I have all of the stuff needed to cut a piece of steel
tube for an alternator conversion.  Does anybody have the inside measurement
of the generator bracket that is mounted to the 3/4 block?  I am thinking it
is about 4 inches inside to inside but not sure now that I am at work.
