So what was it like in those covered wagons, Fred ?
In fact, when Irv bought his P1800 in 1966, we already had roughly half of
today's super highway system ... 20,000 miles in 1965 compared to some
43,000 miles today.

And, speed limits were higher then, and traffic much less. When I learned
to drive (ca 1970) "the Interstate" was 80 and 85 mph ... I don't know of
anywhere in the country where it's that high today.
