Sounds fine to me, many cars have a washer there anyway. Might want to use Grade 5 instead of common hardware store washers. But, I wouldn't go much farther without verifying that the hub won't foul on the outer housing. Sounds like it might sit lower on the shaft than the original one. Randall |
