While working in the interior I removed both seats. I so doing I
noted that several of the eight machine screws that attached the seat
pan to the seat rails were either missing or had been replaced with
much smaller machine screws. So I drilled out the broken & missed
sized screws and found a set of machine screws left over from my MGA
(that I sold 24 years ago)that fit perfectly. I new need a way to
hold these new screws in place. I have tried contact cement, a
series of different types of glues, and even some epoxy putty, none
of which worked. I even tried to braze one in place...
Any ideas short of finding someone with a Mig welder to tack them in place???
