FWIW - I just carry a suitable length of 1/8" nylon rope to tie around 
the pulleys.  Used it once when the dynamo bushing started going and 
drove 300 miles on the battery with the rope around the crank pulley and 
water pump.

Doesn't even need to be on there very tight to turn the pump.
