> Is there some double-secret way to zero the trip? Shouldn't be all that secret ... there should be a small shaft that hangs down out of the case of the meter, with a hole in it. A larger shaft & knob slides over it and gets secured with a cotter pin. If the TR4 is like the TR3, the larger shaft & knob has to be removed before taking the speedo out of the dash, and is frequently lost. You have to pull on the knob while turning it, to zero the odo.
