Lets sort out who drives on the correct side of the road. I believe that
originally we all rode our horses on the left side. This was so when we me
someone riding an MG horse we could draw our sword right handed and see the
scoundrel off without the horse being in the way. Along came a short
dictator known as Napoleon who was left handed and therefore the side of the
road the French used was changed. Being British we didn't do what the rest
of Europe wanted out of sheer bloody mindedness.
So what we have now is the Napoleon supporting countries driving on the
right and those who opposed him driving on the left.
