Ronald,

I have actually found the moss motors catalogs to be invaluable
resources as well.  They usually contain detailed exploded views of the
various subassemblies.  At least for me they helped in building the TR3a
and it helps to have the extra resource for the spitfire as well.  Just
my opinion of course.
