Doubt that vehicles in Oklahoma could get by without anti-freeze protection. Noticed it was 25 F. in Dallas yesterday, and 14 and 10 in Oklahoma City and Tulsa respectively. Ice storms and freezing weather are common in Oklahoma. If for no other reason cars there would need "coolant" added for summer. So, if the anti-freeze wasn't adequate it wasn't because it wasn't needed. |
