I've found it better to store cars with antifreeze than drain them. Lack of a total system fill leads to rusting of the waterpump seal causing a leak later. The block tends to grow rusty fuzz that turns to silt next time the engine is run. If you were to ensure all liquid was out of the motor and the internals dried out this would not be a problem but doing that on a installed motor is difficult. |
