Help! :-)
Anyone know if I can easily obtain an "off the shelf" (i.e., local hardware
store) substitute for the o-ring or rubber gasket (or whatever it is) under
the nut on the pipe from the jet to the float bowl? If so, what?
This is for a Spitfire 4 with SU HS2s. It was running beautifully, but I
noticed very slow drip of fuel from the nut. Tightening it carefully seemed to
stop the drip, but it also seems to have pretty much closed off the supply of
fuel to the jet. Not good.
I really don't want to buy an entire rebuild kit for one little tiny bit. So
any advice is appreciated!

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
