You might be able to ship the hardtop via Greyhound. I had a TR7 "Snugtop"
shipped from Denver to Seattle by a trucking company (Yellow) a few years ago
for $240 or so. But if it had been just slightly smaller, it could have gone
via Greyhound for closer to $85. The TR6 top might be smaller, so maybe it
will fit in a bus.
For packing, I found a local box company that would make a custom cardboard
box (double thick walls and enormous) and I shipped the folded-up box to the
seller. Worked great!
