Going the other direction, my college girl friend's younger brother
showed up one day with a TR3 engine and drive-line, minus the prop
shaft and with the rear axle narrowed, stuffed into a Honda S-600
roadster. There was of course, a rather gaping hole in the hood to
accommodate the height of the engine and forward visibility was
compromised. A sleeper it was not but it did go rather quickly, if only
in a straight line.
