oh yes,  and i haven't looked yet, but is my 58 TR3 tubes or  tubeless?

Tubeless tires should be just fine. Since my TR3A survived years of running  
tubeless Dunlop Gold Seal bias-ply tires ("oversize" at that: 6.85 x 15!) many 
 years ago, I'm sure modern tubeless radials will work just as well.
