Where is your probe mounted ? If it's in the return from the radiator to the water pump inlet (which IMO is where it belongs), then I would set it to the nominal opening temperature of your thermostat (ie 185F). If it's closer to the outlet from the head to the radiator, I'd set it about 10F higher. Randall |
