Just thought I'd chip in that Ken Gillanders was kind enough to send me a
free good used timing gear because he wasn't convinced of the quality of
replacement gears from the big 3. Also, I think he mentioned something new
ones couldn't do, about the ability of the used gear to be adjusted to
attain perfect timing by reversing the gear and getting (I think he said) a
fraction of a tooth advance or retard.
Randall, does this make sense?

painted block today (thank you again Mr. Babbit in Connecticut!). Sorry,
everyone, but I have painted my block, head, driveline, and differential
housing RED! ...But, I'm likely to be boring with the external paint.
