I had a Land Rover Discovery once that ate rotors about every 400mile. I was using over the counter rotors from the local parts store. Once I bought one from the Land Rover dealer at double the price I never had the problem again. This was not til I had replaced the coil, module, harness and dizzy, and at LR prices that was not cheap. I had a similar problem on a Spitfire that ended up being the distributor. I installed a Mallory part and solved the problem there. John Peacock |
