Hi Jason
There is probably nothing wrong with the clutch, the friction plate will
often "rust" to the flywheel, a car that has this problem will do it after a
short time, and a car that doesn't have this problem won't do it even if you
leave it for years, It is possibly something to do with the friction
material being porous to atmospheric water!
If you can drive the car, start it and get it warm, then roll/push/start it
on the key in gear, then drive it with the clutch depressed, give it some
acceleration deceleration cycles and be ready to get off the gas when it
frees, I have used this technique on cars stood for years, it nearly always
works!
