Hi List!
I'm on the digest list so I'm ALWAYS late in replying to threads.
This is why I usually reply to you off the list, but this may help others.
Randall is right in his response to the differences in double flare
vs bubble flare. I have done a bubble fare & installed it into a double
flare fitting. What actually happens is the bubble flare 'bends' to
become a double fare. This is not the best way of doing it, because
actually one is 'cheating' on doing the last step of bending of a double
fare fitting & could damage the unit in this process. But this maybe why
some people get confused in the terms & use of doing the proper
fittings. Just my 2 cents.
