The Galaxie name went into the mid 70's- I had a dark blue 1975 Galaxie500
four door(vin- 4E54H229551[and I remember THAT without written
reference!...lol], if anyone has her, let me know- I believe she may be a
whole battalion of small imports by now, however.) - the first car that I
owned personally. Bought it for $500 in 1984, and drove her for about 6
years- when I got $1,000 in trade for an almost new 1988 F150. I really
enjoyed that car- and my favorites have all been large 4 door cars in dark
blue since(although my LBC is a fave)- had an 85 Impala, and an 88 XJ6, both
a similar shade of dark blue.

Currently in the process of selling a 4 door 1960 Fairlane- at that time a
slightly modified low end version of the Galaxie.

Scott
who has memorized most of his cars' vin numbers... lol
