| JVV, The better TR4A style exhaust manifold (that balanced the late TR4 intake manifold, along with the TR4A's 2 degrees more aggressive cam, is worth an extra 4 horsepower). Carl '63 TR4 since '74 .. with '4 extra horse' manifold waiting to be hitched up.. >> To your point the manifold was changed to a dual system which was supposed to aid the exhaust flow at the introduction of 4A cars.
