Thanks to everyone who has given me advice so far. It has been helpful, but
I still have problems. '72 TR6.
After really digging down into my green wire problem, I discovered some
frightening things. DFO had made repairs (literally) by twisting bare
wires together and wrapping them with duct tape. Not even electrical tape,
DUCT TAPE!. So, after reading DMaster's chapter on rebuilding wiring
harnesses, that's what I've decided to do. I have the old harness almost
completely out, most of it is lying on the driver's seat. I am having a
little trouble with the right side wires, the starter motor wires and the
w/s washer wires. They run behind the heater core/blower motor, and seem to
be stuck back there. Is there a trick? PLEASE tell me I don't have to
remove the heater core and blower to get the wires out! It seems as though
I ought to be able to reach everything by removing the glove box, correct (I
already have the wooden fascia out)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
