Just for the record a GT6 diff is NO different than a MK 4 Spitfire (except in ratio) in fact all GT6, and 71 and later small chassis cars use basically the same diff as well as the early TR7 76 on got a slightly beefier carrier - but all small chassis pinions and the gearsets for that matter are definitely smaller than any TR6 - Barry Schwartz - San Diego -(bschwart@pacbell.net) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
