And you'll get no argument from me on that point. I have no way of knowing if
the clutch in my first TR3A was the original, but back in 1972-75, when I was
driving the car, I never had a problem with the clutch. If not original, it
was almost certainly "as original" -- in other words, most likely a Borg &
Beck. That car got parked with 98,500 miles showing on the odometer (close
enough
to that "100,000 mile setup" goal), and at least the clutch was still fine. On
the other hand, we won't mention the SUs that some clown (guilty as charged)
managed to screw up royally! :-)
