In 2000 I installed the XR700 with external ballist and what appears to be an older stock coil on my TR4. Hard to tell what coil it is as all the paint was gone. The performance has been extremly pleasing to me, my only worry is the cheapo aluminium bracket that holds the eye in the distributor. I should buy a spare, and stow it next to my AAA card........
