Hi Ian. I had the same questions when I did my conversion last spring. I
used a bunch of different references to find out what each wire does on an
alternator and of how Bosch labels it's alternators. Anyway here's what I
have:

+ Brown
B+ Brown/White (large wire)
D+ Brown/Yellow (small wires)

I have a 72 that originally had a Delco alternator. This is slightly
different from the Lucas alternators.

Hi Folks,

I've just replaced my Lucas with a Bosch alternator.
Mechanically the fit is perfect, although I'm a wee
bit worried about the wiring. The references I've
found are based on MG's and I'm trying to cross
reference with my Haynes manual wiring diagram. If
anyone out there has done this on their TR6 please
have a quick look and let me know which wire goes
where.

Thanks,

Ian
