As everyone has indicated, the only studs actually on the rims are the ones
that hold the hubcaps on. But I am a bit confused by this. You might ask
the seller specifically if these are the ones broken. And naturally if that
is the case the rims can not hold the hubcaps that are included in the sale.
I believe that would be a far from "splendid" set, as they are described in
his sale.
To my confusion part. I have never seen one hubcap stud broken, let alone
three rims out of a set of four having broken studs.
The other thing to look out for, and you will not be able to tell until you
have the rims in hand, is wobble. These old steel disk wheels often have
significant wobble as they roll. Of the 6 complete sets (with spares) of
steel wheels I have here I was able to put together one set with no wobble,
and one more with minimal wobble. The rest all start vibrating at some
speed. Just one more of the joys of working with 40 year old vehicles.
