Of course, the next step is to carry a complete dizzy, cap, wires, rotor &
all ...
I picked up the dizzy from an MG midget at the local "pull yer own"
junkyard, just to rob the point plate & other parts from it (had a new set
of points, too). Haven't tried it yet, but it looks like the whole dizzy
would fit a TRactor motor. The advance curve is probably way off, but it
would do to limp home on. And it beats the #@! out of trying to find LBC
parts on a Sunday afternoon in Outer Bumfork.
