For a car that you just wrote "may not be real" and "is more likely a TR250
conversion" there is no indication of those same thoughts on your auction
page. If you knowingly have reservations about the car yourself, and are
offering it for sale, you have a duty to disclose your reservations to
potential bidders.
You are fully representing this car as a TR5. The buyer should not have to
ask if it is real! The term TR5 appears nearly a dozen times on the auction
page, and no where do the words "TR250 or "conversion" appear anywhere.
Come on Wayne, I am in the same business as you, I have talked on the phone
with you a few times over the past few years. I know that there are many
people in this hobby that are slimy and cheap, but as vendors we should not
stoop to that level as well.
