I hooked up an electric tach and it read the same as the '3s but I found the
'3s to be much more sensitive to rpm fluctuations. The spitfire on the
other hand, was reading 1000rpm on the dash, hooked the electric tach ( yes,
I changed the switch for the 6cyl) and found it was actually idling at 450!
oops, adjust to 750 and the dash tach says 1200 :-)
