Thanks everyone for your advice, had no idea how major a project this is.
Took the car to a mechanic, one of a few that the original owner would even
allow to work on it in the past, and it turns he used to own a TR4!  Hope to
be back on the road again soon.  And just wanted to extend my thanks to all
who share their wonderful knowledge about LBC's.
