It was a dry, sunny day today here in the Pacific Northwest (only the
second one for April, I think), so I took the TR out for a spin, just
to let the new top set in the sun :-).
Anyway, I noticed a rumble when cornering hard, either direction. It
sounds like it is coming from the rear.
This past winter I installed new u-joints, rebuilt hubs, new diff
mounts and new bushings. I couldn't see any sign of anything being
lose or rubbing. The only idea I have at this point is the exhaust
pipe, as it is close to the frame, but I can't explain why cornering
would cause a problem. Any other ideas on what the problem might be?
