My 250 doesn't have a hole in the rear bumper. I am assuming the rear bumper
is original.
A fellow club member has a COMPLETELY original Valencia Blue 250 with NO
hole. Bill Piggott's book on the TR4/4A/5/6 has a picture of a beautiful
orginal appearing 250 (page 60) rear end with NO hole.
I would hazzard a GUESS that the hole was a PO's work to mount a antenna or
perhaps some type of light...
