Hi fellow listers.

I was looking in my junk collection . .I mean .. parts treasure chests . .
and found a TR-4 switch plinth that was made of molded plastic.
The others that I have are more like cardboard with a vinyl covering. I
figured this was an aftermarket replacement part.

They are all junk (broken) and I should throw them out .. but that's beside
the point.

While checking out a very original, low mileage TR4 this past weekend .. I
found that it had the same molded plastic version.

This car is much later than any I have owned. I think it is CT34000 or so.

Did Triumph switch over to the plastic at some point . .or was this piece
replaced during the car's life?
If so .. it would be the rare piece that is NOT original on this car.

Thanks for the replies in advance
