I found two places locally that do dipping. The closest one here in
Portland OR quoted $750 for the tub. They are a large operation, and did
not impress me as being committed to quality. The next closest place is
in Eugene OR, about 100 miles away. They quoted $600.

I have been told that there are only about a dozen places left in the US
that do this kind of work. I find it hard to believe that there could be
so few. Does anyone know if this is true? I do know that there are only
two within a couple of 100 miles from where I live.

Thanks,

Mike
