Cool: THE first 1972 model GT6 Mk3! And in one of my favorite color combos
(Lauren Green with Tan upholstery). I'm curious about the body and especially
engine numbers: is it a "UE" engine, with its mind-boggling 79 hp (net)?
Reminds me a lot of KF10224L, which I used to own (and is now owned by a good
friend). Big difference between the two was that "mine" had a black interior.

In looking at the picture of the dashboard, somehow I'm not surprised that
the wiring might not be as per factory specification. It's busy (and, with
all the air vent hoses, etc., cramped) enough behind the dash of a bone-stock
GT6+ or Mk3.
Meanwhile, I had my own case of spring fever today. Through a round of deals
far too complicated to explain (or for me to fully understand, and I was part
of them), and with the help of fellow Triumph folk whose names I will allow
only them to reveal (to protect them...and me), I said goodbye to a Triumph
Mayflower parts car and hello to a 1963 Triumph Sports 6 convertible. No
pictures up yet, but I'll try to do something soon.
