George, a bit of clarification, please. Are you saying that you also punch a
3/16" hole for the snaps? Seems way large to me for snaps, albeit fine for
the Lift-the-dots. I've always used just a sharp awl or similar tool to make
a hole JUST big enough for the snap piece to fit through snugly.

But, your mileage may vary! ;-)
